Traveling to Santa Rosa was a blast. The Viking Opener was a big race, different than a humboldt county race.
Probably not my favorite run although the course was beautiful, the weather was just how I like it not cold but practically raining. I ran a 14:13 officially. I thought I could run faster, but I did what I did. I never felt like I was really owning my pace. Oh well, I have the rest of the season!
And I got in the paper!

Lot of travel -- lot of competition -- & 7:07 pace for 2 miles -- all sounds good to me.
